Wolvennest is a Belgian experimental psychedelic doom metal collective formed in 2015 by guitarists Michel Kirby (Arkangel), Corvus Von Burtle (Cult of Erinyes), and Marc De Backer (Mongolito). Known for their dark, hypnotic, and ritualistic sound blending elements of Krautrock, black metal, and ambient music with vocals by Shazzula and other guests, they create immersive "dark trips" through their music and live shows featuring surreal projections. Their debut album featured members of Der Blutharsch and was followed by several more albums, including their 2025 release Procession, with the band continuing to explore themes of occultism, death, and existence
