The year is 2013. Two members played in a black metal band before and wanted to explore the more slow, heavy, in your face music. They were joined by two friends who also played in various projects before. When the first notes were formed, a name had to be found. An article caught their eye about rats that attacked people by jumping to their throat. Alas Throatsnapper was formed.
